oneVcard vs. MyTaag

Yes, both are German providers with data storage in Germany. oneVcard operates its own ISO 27001-certified data center in Nuremberg; hosting and development take place exclusively in Germany, with no transfer to third countries. This is complemented by a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR on request, an external data protection officer (Prof. Dr. Eberhard Schott), daily backups, 2FA and regular penetration tests.

MyTaag (TAAGSOLUTIONS GmbH, Hamburg) states that it stores and processes data exclusively in data centers in Frankfurt am Main, and likewise provides corporate customers with a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR. MyTaag can be a fit for organizations that rely above all on branded NFC hardware, a central admin dashboard and lead capture, and that don't need deep identity integration (SSO/SCIM/MDM). The company is known for its appearance on "Die Höhle der Löwen," has a solid enterprise-group reference in BMW's entire dealership network in Germany, and offers German-language support including a free support call.

Those looking for an established, hardware-oriented German product with personal sales onboarding, and who accept the non-transparent software pricing, will find MyTaag a solid option. For price-sensitive buyers who want transparent plans and a free entry tier, as well as for IT-driven rollouts with SSO, SCIM-style provisioning, MDM and signature management, oneVcard is ahead, however.
