Founded in 2020/2021, the company combines digital profiles (QR, NFC cards, Apple and Google Wallet) with trade-show lead capture, centralized email signature management, and a team admin console.

In the overall score, Lemontaps reaches 86 out of 100 points, placing it among the strong DACH providers in the comparison field (3rd place behind oneVcard and Spreadly). The highest sub-scores go to feature scope (92/100), team/admin management (90/100), and GDPR (86/100).

Only the price-performance rating comes out noticeably more restrained (74/100) - a consequence of a pricing structure above the single-user tier that is rather opaque for German procurement.

In the data protection assessment, Lemontaps scores 86 out of 100 points and ranks among the strong GDPR providers in the DACH field - behind oneVcard (94) and Spreadly (92). Unlike oneVcard, Lemontaps holds its own ISO/IEC 27001 certification - issued by TÜV SÜD - and thereby sets itself apart on this point factually and clearly from oneVcard, which (as of this analysis) does not hold its own ISO 27001 certification.

Hosting is carried out exclusively on German servers (AWS Frankfurt), encrypted, without transfer to third countries; a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is offered, as is Data Protection by Design (Art. 25), daily backups with disaster recovery, and regular external penetration tests. EU hosting also applies to sub-processors as a mandatory criterion; DORA compliance is mentioned on the vendor's side.

As a limitation: a SOC 2 certification is not substantiated - which can make the compliance portfolio appear thinner for international, particularly US-regulated corporations. For the German market, however, the combination of ISO 27001 (TÜV SÜD), DE hosting, and a DPA remains a solid foundation.

The enterprise toolkit is the actual core of Lemontaps and drives the high sub-scores in feature scope (92/100), team/admin management (90/100), and enterprise integration (82/100). On the IT side, SSO via SAML 2.0 (Azure/Entra ID, Okta), SCIM provisioning, audit logs, a REST API, and white-labeling are available - prerequisites for centrally managed rollouts up to large enterprises (scalable up to 100,000 users per the vendor).

The team console offers subgroups and hierarchies, role and field permissions, templates, aggregated analytics, and bulk provisioning via Excel import (up to 1,000 users). Beyond the pure business card, Lemontaps covers trade-show lead capture (universal contact scanner, AI visit reports), centralized email signature management, and CRM connections to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, and Outlook.

Relevant gaps from a German B2B perspective: no OIDC (only SAML) and no native MDM (Microsoft Intune or Jamf) substantiated - device management runs only indirectly via identity provider and SCIM. Native German HR/payroll connectors (such as DATEV or Personio) are not documented; HR sync is handled generically via SCIM.

As a small company (around 10 employees), Lemontaps is also more lightly staffed than larger competitors.
